Lisa Jones
Managing Director
Lisa has specialised in International Medical Health Insurance since 2009 and is the driving force behind Advisor Office. With extensive experience and a deep understanding of the unique healthcare challenges across Africa, she is passionate about helping businesses and individuals access comprehensive medical insurance solutions that truly meet their needs.
Having personally travelled to 42 African countries, Lisa has developed invaluable first-hand insight into the diverse healthcare landscapes across the continent. This experience enables her to guide clients with practical knowledge and confidence, ensuring they are equipped with relevant, carefully considered product choices.
As the leader of Advisor Office, Lisa is committed to delivering exceptional service through a team that shares her values of integrity, compassion and excellence. She has fostered a culture where every client and member is treated with care, respect and genuine commitment, creating an experience built on trust, dedication and personalised service.
Duran Govender
Head of Employee Benefits (SA)
With industry experience since 2005, Duran leads the South African Employee Benefits division and plays a key role in the operational and strategic direction of Advisor Office. He specialises in Corporate and Individual Health, Risk and Employee Benefits solutions and is passionate about helping employers and individuals navigate the complexities of Healthcare and Employee Benefits.
Duran also drives business development and the continued growth of the South African division, building strong relationships founded on trust, service and practical advice. His practical approach and commitment to exceptional service have enabled him to build trusted relationships with employers, individuals and industry partners alike.
Tiaan Goussard
Strategic Operations Manager
Tiaan brings a multidisciplinary background in law, compliance, risk and business operations to his role as Strategic Operations Manager at Advisor Office. Having begun his career as an attorney, he has developed extensive experience across regulated financial services, governance, regulatory compliance and strategic advisory work.
His professional journey has progressively expanded beyond traditional legal and compliance responsibilities into operational improvement, business strategy and organisational development. This enables him to approach challenges from both a regulatory and commercial perspective, ensuring that sound governance supports, rather than restricts, sustainable business growth.
At Advisor Office, Tiaan works across teams to strengthen internal processes, manage risk and support the continued development of the business. He is passionate about turning complex requirements into practical solutions, improving the way teams work together and helping build an organisation that is efficient, compliant and well positioned for the future.
Margi Marques
Corporate Relations Manager
Margi is our International Medical Health Insurance Corporate Relations Manager and Senior Account Manager. She leads the Advisor Office administration team, playing a key role in ensuring the highest standards of service, accuracy and attention to detail across all client and member interactions. She leads by example, guiding her team with professionalism, consistency and a strong commitment to excellence. With experience in the healthcare industry since 2009, she brings extensive knowledge and a calm, solutions-focused approach to her role.
She acts as a vital link between insurers, clients and members, ensuring clear communication and seamless coordination between all parties. Margi is committed to maintaining strong, trusted relationships and supporting the delivery of a consistently smooth and professional client experience.
Zane Khan
Corporate Account Manager
With industry experience since 2013, Zane specialises in Corporate Account Management within the South African Healthcare and Employee Benefits environment. He works closely with employers, members and providers to ensure the effective management of client portfolios and the delivery of exceptional service. His proactive approach and commitment to building strong relationships make him a trusted partner to the clients he supports. Zane takes pride in providing responsive, personalised service and in helping clients navigate the ever-changing employee benefits landscape with confidence.
Gucie Kabwe
Client Relationship Specialist
Gucie joined Advisor Office in 2015 and is recognised for her diligence, reliability and unwavering commitment to client service in the International Medical Health Insurance space. She has a natural aptitude for financial matters and continues to expand her expertise through ongoing studies, further strengthening the support she provides to our members and colleagues. Fluent in French, Gucie combines her technical knowledge with a caring, client-focused approach, ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism and attention to detail.
Stephanie Mabiala
Client Relationship Specialist
Stephanie has been a valued member of our International Medical Health Insurance team since 2015 and has built strong, lasting relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues. Her meticulous attention to detail, combined with her commitment to delivering outstanding service, makes her an integral part of our Relationship Specialist team. Stephanie also provides invaluable sales support and forms part of our Emergency Assistance Team. She is fluent in French, enabling her to assist a diverse range of clients with professionalism and care.
Nathan Nawezi-Riy-Ra
Client Relationship Specialist
Nathan joined our team in 2023 and has impressed everyone with his enthusiasm, dedication and genuinely caring nature. He quickly mastered the complexities of International Medical Health Insurance and has become a trusted Relationship Specialist who consistently goes the extra mile for our clients. As a valued member of our Emergency Assistance Team, his service-driven approach, compassion and commitment to helping others make him an outstanding asset to both our team and the clients we serve. He is fluent in English and French.
Cindy Oliphant
Client Relationship Specialist
Cindy joined Advisor Office in 2026 and brings extensive experience in the South African Healthcare and Employee Benefits Administration and client services across both corporate and individual environments. She plays an integral role in supporting the South African Healthcare and Employee Benefits division through day-to-day administration, benefit guidance and service-related support. Her caring nature, attention to detail and commitment to exceptional service make her a valued member of our team. She is fluent in Afrikaans and English.

Office Coordinator
Lizelle joined our team in 2023 and has quickly become an invaluable member of Advisor Office. As Office Coordinator, she provides exceptional support to management, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Her cheerful nature, willingness to help and positive attitude make her a pleasure to work with. No task is ever too big or too small for Lizelle, and she approaches every challenge with enthusiasm, efficiency and a genuine smile.
The devoted Client Relationship Team ensures members receive personalised service no matter how big or small the request. The team’s combined experience includes HR assistance, claims queries, pre-authorisations, membership support, benefit understanding, provider information, and the day-to-day coordination and administrative support required to ensure a seamless client experience. Fluent in English, Portuguese, French and Afrikaans, the team supports clients across South Africa, Africa and beyond.
